As a child, my grandfather would relay stories to me of the treacherous and legendary Neeko Neeko Mountain. I grew up knowing that Neeko Neeko Mountain had a magnetic, magical energy to it and I consistently felt drawn to the mountains. One particularly frosty winter eve, Grandpa brewed me a mug of hot cocoa and gathered firewood as the night winded down in our log cabin. "Walt, make a promise to me," Grandpa stated. "Promise when you're older, you drive your kart to the bottom ofNeeko Neeko Mountain."
